WISE impacts, influences, invites and ignites leaders. We are a grassroots effort of women leaders who believe sport is the perfect vehicle for athletes to practice living well through all aspects of leadership development - mind, body and heart. We tell the story of building community and culture that maximizes sport as a tool for training the greater good in all people and encouraging people to live exceptional lives. We help enhance the experience of youth sports.
Dedicated to our future and the story of sport positively affecting lives of individuals & communities as we practice living well on small scraps of grass, courts, baseball diamonds and tracks.
Leadership provides a blueprint to good living.
We are WISE. Living well is an art and as coaches we get the privilege of walking along side athletes as they create their own masterpiece. Leadership is an avenue where we put together our intellect, our heart and our hands to practice and learn what it means to be a good teammate, community member and contribute to our world. Unlike most programs, WISE take these tools and intentionally helps players apply them to practice, trainings, games, championships and their daily lives. We help players discover what leadership really is, what it can look like and how they can make positive changes on the field and the world around them.
This is more than a lecture, a speech, a “listen to me, we have all the answers”. This is the unique story of each player. We utilize story, journals and small groups to help athletes discover their value, their voices and how to plug into their own heart to positively impact their game and world. Their stories of authentic acts of courage, dealing with emotions of conflict and pain, wins and losses and paths that lead them through highs and lows provide the framework for strong leaders of excellence. Wise leaders learn to listen to each other and the stories of other people making their own impact. Sport allow us the opportunity to discover, practice and breathe the story of leadership into the blueprint of our lives.
